Wellington Dock Pontoon Reconfiguration

This project for Dover Harbour Board is part of Stage 3A of the DWDR programme, involving the refurbishment of the historic Wellington Dock and its reconfiguration to provide improved berthing services to the port’s marina users. Works comprised of piling, removal of existing services and pontoons, procurement and installation of new pontoons, access bridges and pontoon services. As part of the wider regeneration programme, the new facility aims to match the refurbished ‘Outer Marina’ also located in the Western Docks

The project is currently nearing completion (due to be completed in April 2025), with phase two works currently outstanding which will the installation of pontoons, access bridge and M&E works to the area running alongside the new union street carriageway (Part of Stage 3B works).

Woodley Coles have been appointed by Dover Harbour Board to provide the full range of Quantity Surveying services including a pre-tender estimate, production of the tender documents, tender analysis, contract drafting and post-contract quantity surveying services.
