Project Update – DWDR Stage 3B

Woodley Coles LLP have thoroughly enjoyed seeing the landscape of the DWDR Stage 3B site transform over the last couple of months!

Sand infilling of the Tidal Basin, Granville Dock and Wick Channel is now complete. Ground improvements have commenced, with preformed vertical drains and dynamic compaction being undertaken by Boskalis Westminster Ltd and McLaughlin & Harvey Ltd Joint Venture’s subcontractor Cofra Limited.

The Wellington Dock closure structure and Wick Channel bund by Waitings works are ongoing, alongside highways and drainage works to support the expansion of the Western Docks at the Port of Dover. Our team can’t wait to see this project progress throughout 2025!
